I am always looking for more uses for nets. I recently came across this article that mentioned their use in cooking. I know I can recreate such a net if I can find more details. I have been to open air seafood restaurants in New Englans where the cooks put lobsters, clams and mussels in a net bag. A draw string allows the cooks to put the bag in a pot of boilling water and take out the bag when cooking is done. I would like to find documentation of this method in 17th or 18th century to add to my net making demonstrations. Are there any food historians here. Thanks in advance. Tony
