Circular Netting Class Supplies

Materials to net:

Type of Project Fiber Mesh Sticks

Circles bookmark: 20 yards of crochet thread or tatting thread
coaster inserts: 5 yards crochet thread or tatting thread
hot pad: between 13 yards string or size 4 cotton yarn
#1 kn, #2 kn, #3 kn, #5 kn, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″

Dishcloths 46 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn

I have used both Peaches & Creme (found at Wal-Mart) and Lily’s Sugar ‘n Cream cotton yarn.

3/8″, 3/4″, 1″

Doily about 43 yards crochet thread #3 kn, 1/4″, 3/8″, 5/8″

Net Bags drawstring bags: 44 inches of cord for drawstring
drawstring bags: about 24 yards of string, size 4 cotton yarn, or cord

net handle bags: about 50 yards of string, worsted weight cotton yarn, or cord

Snood about 40 yards of yarn or crochet thread 3/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 1″

The following supplies are needed for each of the projects.

Netting Shuttle: narrow width of 1/2″ or less

Jann’s Netcraft has a shuttle that is 12″ long by 1/2″ wide.

Tension Device

Foundation Loop Cord: 12″ piece of size 10 crochet cotton or string

General Tools: scissors, tape measure or ruler, and blunt end tapestry needle
