- Netting Shuttle:
This tool is used with string, ribbon, or cord.
I've found that the best size shuttle for these projects is one that has narrow width of 1/2″ or less. Depending on the mesh stick size, a shuttle that is 8″ x 1″ is also useful.
Jann’s Netcraft has a shuttle that is 12″ long by 1/2″ wide.
- Metal Netting Needle:
This tool is used with crochet thread or when the mesh stick is smaller than 3/8".
- Tension Device:
The tension device needs to be something that can hold the foundation loop and be firm and stable.
- Foundation Loop Cord:
12″ piece of size 10 crochet cotton or string
- General Tools:
scissors, tape measure or ruler, and blunt end tapestry needle
